I was reading your blog and moved by your comments about dying to cheap desires. I’m also incredibly filled with cheap cheap desires that something like 10 days exposes, which then exposes how I’m in many ways just a bundle of addictions–to coffee or checking e-mail, or non-conflict, or getting it right, or sticking with the routine, or this or that habit, or very insignificant things…and ho it’s not always been this way. I’ve often been equally astounded at how the Holy Spirit is in charge and I hardly have control of all the things God is ordering RIGHT in my life, and me and my wife are tripping out about that. And also the fact that I can’t seem to make things lean one way or the other through force of my will. Which is really curious.
But I wasn’t going to share any of that. But then I came to this page and saw that my “Reply” field was auto-filled with my email address and the name “Pauly Wallnuts” and I couldn’t let that go unseen. I think it’s because I used that name on my friend’s blog which must use some similar wordpress whatever thing. Mark would know. Anyway, whatever. –Pauly Wallnuts
